Our story: inspiration behind the books
My name is Stacie Hobden. In 2021, my eldest son, at the age of 9, was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia – a rare, non-curable neuromuscular degenerative disease. I had searched for a colouring page that resembled Liam to some degree for a colouring competition we had locally, this sparked the idea of "one day" I will make a colouring in book and today.... the idea for All Abilities Colouring Book is here!
Five years on, with another son also diagnosed with F.A., my inspiration comes from, not only my amazing boys but countless amazing children and their unique spirits, proving that fun knows no diagnosis.
